What Is the Great Bavarian Circus?
Germany's Great Bavarian Circus is brought to Lawton by the Spindler family, the ninth generation of one of Germany's most famous circus dynasties. The family's circus tradition was founded in 1985 in Munich, Bavaria, and today's show carries that European heritage into every act under the Big Top.
The program is packed with world-class aerialists, acrobatics, and juggling, plus five hilarious Bavarian clown acts that come with their own canine co-stars. Performers appear in traditional lederhosen, and the whole experience feels like a slice of old-world Europe dropped into Comanche County. Around the ring, families will find face painting, photo ops, and traditional circus food, so there is something for every age from the moment you walk in.
